In April 2023, the Division of Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences was transformed into the Joint Research Laboratory, an division of integrated pharmaceutical sciences.




Under the motto of "Creation of next-generation medicine from the discovery of new life phenomena," Joint Research Laboratory (formerly Division of Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences) aims to develop new treatments for intractable diseases such as psychiatric and neurological disorders, lifestyle-related diseases, and cancer by building an interdisciplinary research platform and promoting joint research within and outside the university.

2025.11.18

A paper with Koki Harada as lead author has been accepted by Immunology! This international collaborative study, led by Professor Ishihara from our university's Laboratory of Pathophysiological Biochemistry, involved multiple institutions including Singapore.
Joint Research Laboratory played a central role as the platform.

2025.11.14

An international collaborative study involving the Joint Research Laboratory's Watanabe, Kagawa, Matsuzawa, and Harada has been accepted for publication in Regenerative Therapy. This research was conducted jointly by Professor Koubuchi's group in the Laboratory of Pharmacokinetics at our university, along with the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Radioisotope Research Center, Laboratory of Clinical Pharmacy, and Laboratory of Clinical and Translational Physiology, in collaboration with Doshisha University, Doshisha Women's College, and National Taiwan University.
